A catch-all functionality that is activated for a specific e-mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise said, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any mistyped address under the same domain, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential if you run a business, for example. Since you may start receiving unsolicited messages, you can combine the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only legitimate messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting
You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox effortlessly in case you’ve got a shared hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet extremely easy to use, and it will allow you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with no more than several clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve created will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and next to each of them you will notice a small-size "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking it once again will deactivate it. Since you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another one with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you have a semi-dedicated server with our company and your email messages are handled by our cloud platform. All the email addresses that you set up with any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be enumerated in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. Each of them will have a mini "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click that icon. In the same fashion you will be able to turn off the feature, if you don’t need it anymore. Our system will inform you in case you are attempting to activate a second catch-all email address for a specific domain or in case there’s active email forwarding, but it will never alter or disable any feature automatically or without your permission.
